Screen Printing Inks
QCM uses in-house testing equipment and recognized 3rd party analytical laboratories like Bureau Veritas to test select ink products for restricted components.  Further, QCM Inks thoroughly screens components for use in the development of new ink products.   Based on the information and representation given to us by the suppliers of the materials, 3^rd party verification and internal quality control,  QCM Inks can state the following:

QCM Inks Screen Print Plastisols inks and water base with product designations: ATP, AX, DIS, DP, GL, MTL, PERM, QMX, STR, TSP, WOW and XOLB are formulated to be Non-Phthalate in compliance with California Assembly 1108, Oeko-Tex 100 and Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act  HR 4040.   They are manufactured without the following phthalates, di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP),  benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP), diisononyl phthalate (DINP), diisodecyl phthalate (DIDP), di-n-octyl phthalate (DnOP), Di-iso-butyl phthalate (DIBP), and Dimethylphthalate (DMP), including all other esters of ortho-phthalic acid)  to be in compliance with the above standards.                        

Further; QCM Inks Screen Print Plastisols and water base inks with product designations:ATP, AX, DIS, DP, GL, MTL, PERM, QMX, STR, TSP, WOW and XOLB are formulated to be in compliance with the Consumer Products Safety Act, Title 16, Part 1303 regarding lead products and CPSIA HR 4040 regarding lead content. These products are manufactured to contain less than 0.009% lead as formulated. They are formulated to be in compliance with the heavy metal provision of ASTM F-963 and EN 71- 3:1995  regarding the safety requirements for toys and the specification for migration of certain elements and are formulated with ingredients that do not contain Chlorofluorocarbons (CFC) or any  polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAK), TBBPA, DecaBDE, or HBCDD 

QCM Inks Screen Print Plastisols and water base inks series listed above are also formulated with ingredients that do not contain:

• Chlorofluorocarbons(CFC)
• Alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEO)
• Nonylphenol (NPEO)
• Octylphenol Ethoxylates (OPEO'S)
• Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAK), TBBPA, DecaBDE, or HBCDD
• Organotins
• Latex
• Ozone depleting chemicals according to CONEG
