We would like to congratulate Andy's Tee Shirts Inc. for winning the 33rd Annual Impressions Awards! The Concord, California company won the Screen Printing Outstanding Design category for its "Tux" and "Scottish Games" shirts, both of which used Rutland and Union screen printing inks. The Board of Directors of Rutland Holdings, LLC is pleased to
announce the appointment of Hal F. Crownover as its new President
and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Crownover took over the position effective April 22, 2011,
immediately following the departure of Dennis Gunson, April 21,
2011. Prior to his newest appointment, Mr. Crownover served as the
company's Chief Financial Officer for the last six years.
Crownover has proved to be an essential part of the Rutland family
with his decisive leadership and contributions in restructuring and
positioning the companies for the future. The board states, "With
this appointment, the continued transition as well as
accomplishment of key strategic growth initiatives will be smooth
for employees, customers and all other partners of our family of
plastic products."
From his new position as President and CEO, Hal Crownover will
lead the companies forward as the global leader of innovative
screen print inks and specialty industrial applications of
plastic-based technologies. The enterprise is already forging
new relationships with international partners as well as acquiring
interests in other brand names that fit with the Rutland
vision. The company expects to continue on this track to meet
the increasingly complex and global nature of its business
profile.

VASAI, INDIA JULY 13, 2011: Rutland Plastic Technologies Inc. Pineville, NC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Rutland Holdings and Dhaval Colour Chem Pvt. Ltd.(DCC) in Mumbai, India, recently finalized their 50:50 joint venture with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new facility Rutland-DCC in Vasai, India. Present for the ribbon cutting ceremony where Hal F. Crownover, CEO; John Mason, Group Director of Technology-Screen Print Inks and Duke M. Punhong, VP, Private Equity, HSBC from Rutland and Narendra Dadia, Group Chairman; Kishore Dadia; Hitesh Dadia, President, Rutland-DCC Ink Mfg. Pvt. Ltd.; Dhaval Dadia, Executive Director, DCC and Vipul Dadia, Director, Creative Industries.
Both parties to the joint venture are equally excited with the potential of the agreement and added value it brings to their businesses. For Rutland this is the first manufacturing venture in Asia and first co-branding with any company. "Expanding our global reach has been a top priority for the company and our long-term relationship with DCC going back more than a decade presented an outstanding partnership opportunity. We look forward to providing the screen print industry not only in India but the complete region with the world's most advanced ink technology," says Crownover.
