Announcement of New CEO

(January 31, 2014) The Board of Directors of Rutland Holding Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Leone as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Jeff has spent the majority of his career in the chemical industry working for BASF and the BASF joint venture called Basell in the coatings, plastics and fibers businesses. Most recently, Jeff was the CEO of the building materials company called Trulite with 31 locations and 2000 employees across the USA and Canada. Jeff is a graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University with a B.S. degree in chemistry.

Rutland Holding Company is a specialty chemicals company supplying the textile inks, automotive and industrial markets around the world and has locations in the USA, Peru, India and the United Kingdom. The company's brands include Rutland, Union Ink, PRINTOP, and QCM. Rutland Holding Company is owned by the private equity firm Riverside Company.


RUTLAND GROUP announces new appointment:

Rutland Group, Pineville, NC announces the appointment of Dr. Neil D. McMurdie as the Vice President of Global R&D. In this role Dr. McMurdie will be responsible for overseeing the development of innovative new technologies and products for the textile screen printing, automotive and industrial marketplaces. Before joining the Rutland Group, Dr. McMurdie was with both MAPEI and PPG Industries in research and development roles. After completing his B.S. in Chemistry as a Presidential Scholar at the University of Texas, Dr. McMurdie gained his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Yale University. Dr. McMurdie has 22 years' experience in chemical research and is a member of the American Chemical Society. He received the U.S. EPA Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award in 2001 and is a holder of 10 U.S. patents.

RUTLAND GROUP announces new appointment:

Rutland Group, Pineville, NC, announces new appointment of Dr. Gregory R. Corallo as the Vice President Global Supply Chain. In this role Dr. Corallo will be responsible for overseeing purchasing, planning and inventory management globally for our textile screen printing, automotive and industrial businesses. Prior to joining the Rutland Group, Dr. Corallo was with both SGL Carbon Group and Hoechst Celanese Corporation serving as Vice President Supply Chain Management, Director of Technology & Innovation and Director Purchasing & Logistics for NA & Asia. After completing his B.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University of California at Davis, Dr. Corallo received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of Florida. He is a Certified Purchasing Manager and a Six Sigma Champion.

RUTLAND GROUP announces new appointment:

Rutland Group, Pineville, NC announces the appointment of Mike Talley, CPA to the position of Global Chief Financial Officer in August 2014. Mr. Talley oversees daily operations in corporate finance, IT and human resources administration. He brings over 30 years of experience with a track record of high-growth success in entrepreneurial environments backed by private equity group investors. Prior to joining The Rutland Group, Mr.Talley served as chief administrative officer at UC Synergetic, Inc., a national provider of engineering design to the  electrical and telecommunication distribution industries, where he helped to grow annual revenue from $30M to more than $75M in five years. Prior to UC Synergetic, he served as chief financial officer at Beacon Medaes, a leading supplier of centralized medical gas solutions, where he helped to grow annual revenue from $6M to more than $100M in eight years. His experience also includes financial leadership at data communications, textile equipment distribution, construction and specialty chemical manufacturing businesses. Mr. Talley holds a B.S. in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a Certified Public Accountant.
