DESCRIPTION:
LFP-1041 Silver Reflective Ink is a one-part plastisol ink that contains glass beads,
which reflect light back toward the light source. LFP-1041 is silver tinted to give a
brighter cleaner look. LFP-1041 is reflective in direct light, and sparkly silver in indirect
light.
OPACITY:
LFP-1041 is semi-opaque.
PRINTING RECOMMENDATIONS:
Print through a 80 MESH screen. Stir well before use. LFP-1041 is a lower viscosity
ink. This ensures that the ink will carry the beads through the screen, maximizing
reflectivity. Printing over an underbase is not recommended, as this will significantly
reduce reflectivity.
CURING:
Cure at 320F for at least 90 seconds. Test carefully to ensure that the ink is fully
cured. CAUTION: Because of the large size of glass beads, it is important to fully cure
LFP-1041 to avoid wash-out.If the ink cracks or is still sticky after curing a second run through the drier may
be required.
MODIFIERS:
LFP-1041 is ready to use. Do not thin or thicken.
CLEAN UP:
Use any commercial plastisol ink degrader.
WARNING:
QCM Company offers no guarantee for safety of garments printed with QCM Reflective
Inks. Printing of garments with this ink does not meet any specification as to its
reflectivity or to any other safety standards.
